THEY’VE just returned from a luxurious, but hectic, holiday in Florida.
And after recovering from their jet lag, the Radfords are doing their best to settle back into daily life – and even managed a Home Bargains trip to pick up some bits for their garden.
“Did a bit of a Home Bargains shop today for our future plans,” Sue and Noel Radford wrote over a picture of their haul on their Instagram Stories.
In the picture was a set of wooden chopping boards, plastic plates and cutlery, a bronze jug and some tea towels.
In the next video, they showed off the addition of some metal ornaments to their garden, including a ladybird hanging solar light that costs just £3.99.
Clearly keen to add some light to their outside space, they also grabbed two butterfly versions of the solar lights.
While in Home Bargains, the Radfords also picked up a metal bumblebee and ladybird, which they’ve attached to the wooden trellis in their garden.
Sue, 47, and Noel, 51, are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 28, Chloe, 26, Jack, 25, Daniel, 23, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 13, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, two.
They’ve done their utmost to make the garden of their Morecambe mansion a welcoming place for both adults and children, and installed a hot tub and outdoor bar during lockdown.
However, the couple are now looking to build their own house, and are in the process of finding the perfect plot of land.
“We’re only ever going to build this one house so it’s got to be right, we want somewhere that’s got enough land for us,” Noel said previously.
“We want about an acre so we can build a big-ish house for us all but we also want there to be plenty of space so that the kids can get out and play.”
The couple are looking for a plot within half an hour’s distance of their current home, a former care home in Morecambe, and want land that has already been granted planning permission so they can start building straight away.
“It’s so hard to find land that’s available and in the right location of where you want it,” Sue added.
“We want the kids to have their own space, it needs to be bigger basically, we’ve grown out of this house.”
