To quote a favorite song of the moment “Ask for what I want and somehow, it find me!!” I can’t believe I’m typing these words but I AM ON THE COVER OF ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST!!! Holy guacamole. I couldn’t imagine a more exciting way to share our new home, #JungalowByTheMountain with all of you — than with these stunning photos captured by my friend, the incredible Jenna Peffley and an Open Door video taking you room to room:
You can read the AD article here, written by Sydney Gore And don’t forget to pick up the issue in print!! Over the next few weeks and months, I will be sharing more of the process, behind the scenes and sources for everything in our new home on IG and here on the blog.
And for now, I’ll leave you with a few of my favorite snaps from the shoot, with sources below:
I love arched niches and I wanted to give this one a little moment to shine so we painted and outlined the niche in yellow and then surrounded it in Moroccan brass mirrors. I found the 1980’s console table and fell in love with the simple shape and the chunky-ness. On top of the console and in the niche, I display pieces that symbolize joy, abundance, protection, life and connection, so those feelings stay with us and our guests as we come and go.

In our living room, we added the floor-to-ceiling shelves to make room for my beloved tchotchkes. This is the heart of the home! We left some spindles too as a not to the original architecture. The sofa from Clad Home is incredibly comfortable and wonderful.
Off to make some music!
