Aldi heated clothes airer is back! Over the last few months, the best heated clothes airers have become like gold dust to get your hands on. We are excited to announce that the sellout Aldi wing heated airer (opens in new tab) will be available to preorder online from 18th December for just £39.99.
If you were on the fence about buying a heated clothes airers, now is your chance. Aldi’s offering is not only cheaper than competitors but also one of the cheapest heated airers to run. At just 230 watts it will cost just over 60p to run for 8 hours.
However, if you have been lusting after a three-tier heated airer (trust us it’s a thing) Aldi has also relaunched its own version for £89.99.

Aldi heated clothes airer
The Aldi winged heated clothes airer is a real bargain, coming in £30 cheaper than Robert Dyas’ almost identical sellout heated airer (opens in new tab). It has been a sellout success every time it has come back into stock, so set a reminder on your phone and pre-order yours on the Aldi website (opens in new tab) this weekend.
It has 20 individual heating tubes, providing a large surface for drying bed sheets and towels quickly, and plenty of space to hang t-shirts, trousers and socks. For under £40, you’ll be freed from the constant sight of a drying rack of damp clothes in the living room through winter.
The 230W Aldi heated clothes airer is also lightweight and has foldable wings, so will fit in easily with utility room storage ideas or under the bed/sofa. When you have a load of washing ready for drying, simply unfold it and plug it in.

Heated clothes airers have seen a huge increase in search as people look for cheaper ways to get their laundry done after the rise in the energy price cap. Given the higher cost of running a tumble dryer, costing around 60p to dry a load of laundry quickly in 8 hours it could help you save money in the long run.
Our Ideal Home Deputy Print Editor Ginvera Benedetti invested in an Aldi heated airer when they first launched and hasn’t looked back since.
‘I bought two Aldi heated clothes airers when my son was born to help with the extra washing we’d have with a newborn,’ says Ginevra. ‘They’re sturdy, easy to pack away and dry clothes quickly. My son turns 8 next week and they’re still going strong. In winter, they’re a total must-have, unless, of course, you have a tumble dryer – which I don’t!’

In addition to the original heated clothes airer, Aldi is selling a heated airer with three tiers. It features 36 drying bars ideal for drying clothes fast for a larger load of washing.
Priced at £89.99, it’s almost half the price of a similar version at Lakeland. It’s a perfect addition to small utility room ideas and a total saviour if you’ve got a high volume of laundry to get done.
If you do miss the preorder don’t despair as they will also be landing in store on the 27th of December.
